DESCRIPTION
Villa Torrigiani is one of the most luxurious and spectacular villas in the Lucca area and dates back to the second half of the 16th century. The building stands out due to its vivid multi-coloured main façade, while the late-Renaissance façade on the back features a large portico. Inside it, there is a grand elliptical staircase, stuccos and unusual decorations. The park has taken on a romantic aspect since the 19th century, with the inclusion of plant species from various parts of the world, as well as numerous varieties of camellias.
