DESCRIPTION
The Teatro del Maggio was inaugurated in 2011 and is the permanent location of the Orchestra and Choir of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Florence Musical May). There are three rooms in the building: the opera house with 1800 seats distributed between the stalls, theatre boxes and gallery, an open air cavea with 2000 seats and an auditorium not yet completed.
