DESCRIPTION
The Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art is the first Italian institution built specifically to exhibit and promote avant-garde art from the 1960s to the present day. Today it is made up of two sections: the building designed in the 1980s by architect Italo Gamberini, and the extension designed by Rotterdam-based studio NIO.
