Casa Vasari, the family residence of the painter, architect and art historian, Giorgio Vasari, is located in the historic town center of Arezzo. A unique example of an artist’s home and Mannerist style residence, it was owned by Vasari’s heirs until 1687. The house is arranged on three floors: the basement, the elegant apartment on the first floor and another, probably intended for servants, on the second floor. Next to the house there is an Italianate garden with a lemon-house. Today it houses the Vasari Museum.
