The Central Market of San Lorenzo is located inside a cast iron and glass building, built by Giuseppe Mengoni in the second half of the 19th century and is organised over two floors dedicated to food, with a floor area of 3000 m2. On the first floor, which was completely renovated a few years ago, there are workshops, restaurants, pizza parlours, coffee shops and also a cookery school.
