DESCRIPTION
The cathedral of San Francesco, the main Catholic place of worship in Livorno, is located in the city centre. The construction works began in the sixteenth century and ended in the century that followed. The Cathedral’s façade has a portico with rounded arches. The interior has a Latin cross layout and there are two side chapels in the transept.
