DESCRIPTION
The Convent of San Bartolomeo, a former Franciscan monastery dating back to the 13th century, is located on the slopes of Mount Amiata. The cloister, featuring elegant fifteenth-century Ionic-style colonnades, is the heart of the convent. It has been transformed into an accommodation facility and includes several suites and 15th-century frescoed halls and it is surrounded by an ancient garden from which you can enjoy a broad view of the Val d’Orcia.
