DESCRIPTION
The Church of Orsanmichele was built by Arnolfo di Cambio and dates back to the 13th century, when it was a loggia for wheat, later becoming a religious building. The element that makes the Church stand out are the fourteen tabernacles that open up onto the external facades. inside, there is now also a Museum, where several sculptures can be admired, among which that of Saint Mark by Donatello and that of Christ and St. Thomas by Verrocchio.
