DogHead Animation is the leading Italian 2D animation company based in Florence and Pisa. They are looking for Toon Boom Harmony 2D Cut Out/Paperless Animators of all experience levels to expand their team for upcoming animated serial productions. The Company is also looking for Toon Boom Harmony Riggers of all experience levels for upcoming animated serial productions.
2D CUT OUT/PAPERLESS ANIMATORS
Main Responsibilities
• Animate scenes with cut out/paperless tecnique in Toon Boon Harmony within established deadlines under the supervision of the Animation Director and Assistant
• Switch from cut out to paperless animation when required in the production
• Communicate with other animators, riggers and Production Manager to meet project deadelines and maintain the quality standard of the series
• Make any corrections and changes requested by the client/art director
Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony
• All levels of experience are accepted, with highly motivated candidates we can also consider entry-level position
• Strong knowledge and ability to apply animation principles
• Good/strong drawing skills
• Strong knowledge of rigs and ability to use them
• Previous experience in TV series and other similar productions is highly valued
• School diplomas and Toon Boom Harmony certificates are a plus
• Ability to adapt to the studio pipeline and team work
• Ability to complete tasks within set deadlines

2D HARMONY RIGGERS
Main Responsibilities
• Building the rigs under the supervision of the rig supervisor/art director, starting from the initial steps to the complete closure of the characters
• Respecting intermediate and final deliveries, interfacing with production managers
• Communicate with the animators whenever necessary
Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony
• All experience levels, with highly motivated candidates we can even consider entry-level artist positions
• Knowledge of 2d cut out animation
• Ability to adapt to the studio pipeline and to work both in a team and individually self-responsible
• Ability to complete tasks within set deadlines
• Attention to details and accurate work
• Certificates in animation / rigging / harmony are beneficial
