DESCRIPTION
Villa Medici in Fiesole was built from 1451 to 1457 at the behest of Giovanni de ‘Medici on a project by Leon Battista Alberti and Bernardo Rossellino. It ‘a typical example of fifteenth-century palace, decorated with framed windows and stone broad loggias on the garden terrace. Now privately owned, the Villa is inserted in the List of Cultural and Natural World Heritage Site.
