DESCRIPTION
Approximately 30 km from Carrara, the Convento del Carmine, a monastery built in the late 16th century to accommodate the Carmelite friars, is now a building that hosts events. The convent is surrounded by a small wood of tall pine, walnut, chestnut and cypress trees and has a large cloister, an 18th century frescoed hall and an apartment.
