DESCRIPTION
The Park includes a great variety of mountainous and hilly environments and the famous white marble quarries. Its territory extends for about 20,000 hectares between Versilia and Garfagnana and it has a wild and uncontaminated underground environment of karstic origin: there are 1300 caves counted, among which the Corchia Cave in Stazzema, the deepest chasm in Italy, stands out, the Grotte del Vento (Caves of the Wind) and the Cave of Equi Terme.
