DESCRIPTION

San Miniato is a village situated approximately 30 km from Pisa and dates back to the Etruscan-Roman period. In the village, which is also famous for its white truffles, there is the Rocca di Federico II (Fortress of Frederick II) and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and San Genesio, dating back to the 12th century, the Church of Santissimo Crocifisso and the Episcopal Palace.
