DESCRIPTION
San Quirico d’Orcia is an ancient village of Etruscan origin and makes up a considerable part of the Val d’Orcia Cultural Artistic Nature Park. Built along the Via Francigena route, it stands out in history due to the presence of the Ospedale della Scala, where hospitality was offered to pilgrims. Among the historic buildings of interest: the Collegiate Church of Santi Quirico e Giuditta and Palazzo Chigi Zondadari.
