DESCRIPTION
The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta stands in the centre of Piazza dei Miracoli and is the medieval cathedral of Pisa. Among the works inside it, there are: the Pulpit by Giovanni Pisano, and paintings depicting episodes from the Old Testament, painted by Andrea del Sarto, Il Sodoma and Domenico Beccafumi.
