DESCRIPTION
The Ice-House of the Madonnina is a picturesque place located at the entrance to the cold Rhine Valley, in a setting of great naturalistic value. It is a circular structure with a conical roof in rye straw, and natural ice was produced here until the early twentieth century. The ice-house houses sculptures by Leonardo Begliomini, which reproduce the work of the ice maker.
